YYC Homecare Services (“YYC Homecare”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to information we collect through our website, social platforms (including TikTok Lead Generation forms), and any other ways you interact with us.
We are based in Canada and follow applicable Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
We only collect what we need to contact you, understand your needs, and provide services.

What we do not ask for in ads lead forms:
We don’t ask for health/medical details, payment info, or IDs in TikTok or quick website inquiry forms. If we ever need sensitive information to provide services, we’ll ask for it separately with clear consent.
Automatic data (website):
Basic device/usage info (e.g., IP address, pages viewed) via cookies/analytics to improve our site performance and security.
We use your information to:
Contact you about your inquiry or request a call-back
Provide quotes, service information, and onboarding
Send service updates and (with your consent) occasional promotions—you can opt out anytime
Improve our advertising (e.g., measure which ads are working)
Maintain security, prevent fraud/abuse, and meet legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
When you submit a TikTok Lead Generation form, TikTok shares with us the information you chose to provide. We process that information under this Privacy Policy. TikTok may also process your data under TikTok’s own privacy policy. If you want to change what data TikTok collects or shares, please adjust your TikTok settings or contact TikTok directly.
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent, which you provide when you submit a form or otherwise share your details with us. You may withdraw consent at any time (see “Your choices & rights” below). We also handle information to meet legal/regulatory requirements and to protect our services from misuse or fraud.
We share personal information only with:
Service providers (processors) who help us run our business (e.g., website hosting, CRM/email/SMS tools, analytics). They are contracted to protect your information and use it only for our instructions.
Advertising & analytics partners (e.g., TikTok, website analytics) to measure campaign performance and improve our marketing.
Authorities if required by law, to protect our rights, or investigate suspected fraud/abuse.
Successors in a business transfer/merger, under the same privacy protections.
We do not sell your personal information.
Some service providers may process data outside of Canada (e.g., in the United States). Where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use reputable providers and take steps to protect your information in line with Canadian law.
Leads & general inquiries: kept for up to 24 months from your last interaction so we can follow up appropriately, unless you ask us to delete sooner (subject to legal requirements).
Client records (if you become a client): retained as required by law/regulation and professional standards.
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
We use reasonable physical, organizational, and technical safeguards to protect your information (for example, access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, staff confidentiality commitments). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
In Canada, you have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Withdraw consent to our use/disclosure (this may affect our ability to provide services)
Opt out of marketing at any time (use the unsubscribe link in emails/SMS where available, or contact us)
Ask questions or make a complaint about our privacy practices
To exercise your rights, contact us (see “How to contact us” below). We will respond within a reasonable time.
We may use cookies or similar technologies to:
Keep the site functioning (strictly necessary cookies)
Understand site performance and improve content (analytics)
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly without certain cookies.
Our services and marketing are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us to have it deleted.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., by posting a notice on our website).
