Home Support Worker
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Spanish-Speaking Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals receiving home care services. The successful candidate will be committed to promoting the independence, comfort, dignity, and well-being of clients through personalized, client-centered care.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
Assist clients with medication administration in accordance with prescribed care plans and established protocols.
Support meal planning, preparation, and feeding when required.
Perform light housekeeping duties and assist with household tasks to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
Monitor and document clients’ health status and promptly report any changes or concerns.
Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement to enhance overall well-being.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility support while following safe lifting and handling procedures.
Support clients living with dementia, cognitive impairments, or disabilities using appropriate caregiving techniques.
Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, nursing homes, or related healthcare settings is preferred.
Knowledge of personal care practices, medication assistance, and dementia care.
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or those receiving palliative or hospice care is considered an asset.
Ability to safely perform physical duties, including lifting, transferring, and assisting clients with mobility.
Demonstrated compassion, patience, reliability, and professionalism in caregiving environments.
Relevant certifications or training in caregiving, healthcare, nursing assistance, or related fields are considered an asset.
Required Skills
Fluent Spanish language skills (required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
