Health Care Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to provide high-quality support to our clients in assisted living, nursing homes, and home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, medication administration, and ensure the safety and well-being of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support seniors and individuals with disabilities with daily activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping
Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals following proper protocols
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a respectful and caring environment
Monitor residents’ health status, report changes to supervising nurses or healthcare providers
Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control standards
Support dementia care by implementing personalized routines and engaging clients in appropriate activities

Requirements

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
Compassionate nature with excellent caregiving skills and patience
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation when needed
Certification or training in caregiving or health care assistance is a plus but not mandatory
Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing respectful care in a professional manner
